(Princeton, NJ — November 21, 2023) Princeton Justice Initiative (pjihelps.org) is hosting its final ShareFair of 2023 at Thomas J. Kavanagh VFW Post 2290 on Saturday, December 9, from noon to 3:00 pm. The ShareFair program, supported by a generous grant from AmeriCorps, functions as a “pop-up” community center, where volunteers offer everything from flu shots to bags of groceries to information on a wide range of topics, including civil legal aid.

Princeton Justice Initiative Bringing More Attorneys on Board for 2024
(Princeton, NJ — November 3, 2023) Princeton Justice Initiative, a 501(c)(3) that advises and protects at-risk and disadvantaged families caught in the civil legal system, plans to expand its cadre of volunteer attorneys in the coming months thanks to its newly minted Pro Bono Certification from the State of New Jersey. The organization is actively recruiting lawyers interested in fulfilling their pro bono requirements with an hour or two (or more) of in-person or phone time.
Princeton Justice Initiative Joins Pro Bono Celebration
(Princeton, NJ — October 12, 2023) The week of October 22 to 28, 2023, marks a seven-day nationwide “Celebration of Pro Bono”—shining a light on the countless hours provided by individuals in the legal field to our most vulnerable citizens. This year’s theme is Voices of Democracy: Ensuring Justice for All.
Among the organizations celebrating this year is the New Jersey-based Princeton Justice Initiative (PJI), a legal aid 501(c)3 registered public charity that received its Pro Bono Certification earlier this year. PJI will be hosting an informal after-work meet-and-greet on Tuesday, October 24, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Nassau Inn at 10 Palmer Square in Princeton.
